February 2, 2001: As you may know, Darren Aronofsky is co-producing and co-writing the upcoming film Below, which will be directed by David Twohy (Pitch Black) and is a sci-fi film which takes place on a submarine in the second World War. The film has an American Sub. crew facing enemy Nazis, ghosts, and creatures from the deep. Here's the recent casting:
Olivia Williams (Bruce Willis' wife in the 6th Sense)-Claire: the British ship doctor
Matt Davis (Tigerland, Pearl Harbor)-Catpain Douglas O'Dell
In another casting note: David Boreanaz (star of The WB's Angel) recently stated that he was in talks to play a staring role. Hopefully we'll here something official soon as production starts next month in the UK.
