More On 'Last Man'
June 29, 2001: Daily readers of Darren Aronofsky Online know that yesterday we posted a story circulating the web about Darren Aronofsky's untitled scifi film being called Last Man. (Click here for the story and for some plot speculation.) Today, after checking the Internet WHOIS Directory for domain names, I was able to get a confirmation for the scoop...kinda. According to the WHOIS Directory, Warner Bros. purchased the domain names "LastManMovie.Com" and LastManMovie.Net" on Tuesday June 19, 2001.
(As of now, both websites aren't up, and probably won't be until the film is released.) Although this isn't an official confirmation, it is about as close as you can get.
All should know that I am starting a page for Last Man, just as I have done with Batman: Year One and Below, and it should be up this weekend in the "Upcoming Films" section of this website.
