'Last Man' Delayed & 'Below' Picture September 1, 2001: Our pal 'William' alerted us that Variety is reporting that Last Man (Also called "Darren's Untitled Scifi Film") has been delayed and filming won't start until summer 2002. The delay is due to script polishes and will allow co-star Cate Blanchett some rest time after having her baby. Variety refers to the film as 'Man' which could mean there has finally been some confirmation on the title being Last Man. Of course it's just possible that Variety is calling the film that as that has been the rumored name floating around the net. (Note: For those confused, the rumored title of Darren's Untitled Scifi film has been Last Man, although there has been no official confirmation, except for the fact that Warner Bros. bought some Last Man domain names.) Now some news about the flick that Darren Aronofsky is executive producing/co-writing called Below. (Directed by Pitch Black writer/director David Twohy.)
