On our last update, we reported that Harry Knowles from Aint It Cool News stated that Batman: Year One was still moving forward, despite the fact that Warner Bros. greenlit another Batman film: Wolfgang Peterson's Batman & Superman flick. A few days ago Variety magazine reported the same. Also, in an article about Wolfgang Peterson's Bat-film, MTV.Com reported the following:

Apparently the WWII submarine thriller written and executive produced by Darren Aronofsky titled Below is now scheduled for a release date of 12/31/02 according The Hollywood Stock Exchange.

I got excited when I heard that Darren was doing an intro to the crime/noir/scifi/thriller comic book called Transmetropolitan.
